Mumbai: Last month, news of Salman Khan collaborating with South Indian film director A R Murugadoss spread like wildfire. The actor now has his eye on Tamil action thriller ‘Thani Oruvan’.
According to media reports, the actor has bought the rights of the film to remake it in Hindi. Salman’s team liked the plot-driven film, and after careful consideration they suggested that he acquire rights for a remake.
The film’s story revolves around a cop on a mission to expose corrupt persons. The original film was directed by Mohan Raja, and starred Arvind Swamy, Nayanthara and Jayam Ravi in the lead roles.
Salman Khan is currently awaiting the release of ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, and is also simultaneously gearing up for his next ‘Sultan’. After the casting for this film begins, it will most likely go on floors next year.
