The Indian Social Forum Khobar – Dammam branch held a Jersey Release Program and Captains Meet at the Rose Restaurant Dammam as part of its Cricket Tournament scheduled on April 10, 2015. The Jersey Release Program was witnessed by Representatives and Captains of invited teams from Dammam-Khobar.
The program started with a Presidential Address by the Indian Social Forum Karnataka Chapter President Mr. Mohammed Sharieff; during his brief note he explained about the aims and objectives of the cricket tournament. He said that “we cannot help everyone, but everyone can help someone”, Social Forum Cup is held for the noble cause of Community Welfare Service Activities across Eastern Province and in India as well. He requested the participating teams to join hands with Indian Social Forum to serve the expatriates of Indian Community under the banner of Indian Social Forum beyond regional, religious and linguistic barriers.
Mean time the team representatives and captains introduced their teams to the guests and the audience. Later match fixtures were held by the cricket organizing committee chairperson Mr. Saeed and Mr. Shafi Imran. Social Forum Cup-2015 Rules and regulations was released by ISF Karnataka State Secretary Mr. Bava Shabu Beary. A copy of Rules and Regulations was also circulated among representatives of the participating teams.
At the end, a beautifully designed Jersey of Indian Social Forum Team was released by the dignitaries to the team captain/players of Indian Social Forum which was sponsored by Fabrotech & Al Musaad Company.
Finally, there was a Question & Answer session which was smoothly handled by the Cricket organizing committee Chairperson Mr. Saeed.
Indian Social Forum Alkhobar Branch President Mr. Abdul Nassir presided over the program. Karnataka State Gen. Secretary Mr. A.M.Arif, concluded the program. Dammam Branch President Mr. N. Fayaz offered vote of thanks. The event was successfully hosted by Indian Social Forum Khobar Branch Secretary Mr. Abdul Samath.
The ISF Official stated that , as scheduled Jubail Social Forum Cup tournament FINAL MATCHES & GRNAD FINALE Ceremony to be conclude on April,2 & 3, 2015 at AlFalah Ground Jubail.
