Xanax pills were found hidden inside their clothes

Saudi airport customs authorities arrested two women trying to smuggle nearly 22,000 Xanax pills, which are banned in the conservative Gulf Kingdom.

The pills, used in the treatment of anxiety, panic disorders and depression, were found concealed inside the women’s clothes at airport in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah.

One woman had around 12,000 pills and the other was found carrying nearly 10,000 pills tied to their waist under their clothes.
“Police arrested the two women on charges of trying to smuggle banned pills into the Kingdom…they will stand trial soon,” Sabq daily said.
