Dubai : It was a auspicious day for all members of Shri Vishwakarma Seva Samithi(VKSS) –Dubai, UAE who witnessed the grand and vibrant celebration of 11th year anniversary and 12TH Shri Vishwakarma Pooja held at Indian Academy School- Al Qusais near Madina Mall in Dubai on 17/10/2014 followed with cultural programs.
The pooja rituals were started at 8.30AM and went well organized way with sankalpa, Guru, Ganapathi Pooja followed with lighting the “Mandala Jyothi” by chief guest Shri PN Acharya, VKSS core committee and executive committee members to mark the start of pooja. The mantapa and the stage were beautifully decorated by VKSS members. Shri Vishwakarma was installed in the mantapa with colourful sugandh flowers decorated. Shri Vishwakarma Stotra was chanted by VKSS kids & Shri Kalika Stotra by VKSS ladies wing prior to Bhajan program. Bhajan seva was beautifully and devotionally rendered by the VKSS committee members with guidance of shri Shantahramachar & Shri Prabhakar Achar; soulful bhajans gave divine touch to the pooja. Kalasha Prathisthe, Shri Vishwakarma Kalpokta pooja, Shri Vishwakarma Katha parayana, followed with Ashtavadhana seva were rendered as per vedic rituals, pooja concluded with Mahamagalarathi held at 12:30pm followed with distribution of prasadam and mahaprasadam. Complete Pooja rituals were meticulously performed by well known Purohit, Brahmashri Shri Vishwanatha Acharya and assisted by his son Shri Vishwara Acharya from Udyavaar- Udupi, flown in especially for this pooja. Smt & Shri Nithyananda Acharya sat on the the pooja pedestal on behalf of community. Mahaprasadam was served which was sponsored by group of donors as part of Annadana seva. Devotees not only from the community all over UAE, but also community leaders and members of various other community organizations like were present to seek the blessings of the Supreme Lord.
Stage program was started at 2:30PM with prayer sung by VKSS kids-Sharjah, program was inaugurated by lighting “Mangala Jyothi” by the delegates, guests on the dais, latter all the delegates, guests and audience were warmly welcomed for the program by Shri Prashanth Acharya- President. The program was presided by “Karnataka Kala Rathna” Shri PN Acharya- one of the finest legend artists, in India. On dais were Shri Shantharamachar- Founder President, Shri Prashanth Acharya- President, Chief Guest Shri PN Acharya, Purohit Shri Vishwanatha Acharya, Shri Upendra Kundove-General Secretary, Smt Pratibha Shodha- Vice President, Shri Harisha Achar- Treasurer. As part of VKSS community recognition, Purohit Brahmashri Shri Vishwanath Acharya was felicitated with shawl, flower, fruits and smaranike by the VKSS committee members. Shri PN Acharya was felicitated by the VKSS committee with smaranike, gouravapatra and honoured with title “Vishwakarma Kala Samrat”, in his guest speech he thanked for the recognition made by the Vishwakarma community and the VKSS works towards community in various aspects. Purohit Shri Vishwanatha Acharya appreciated all good social works and helping hand to the community’s needy people at back home and wished the same to continue with theme of “Sarve Janah Sukhino Bhavantu”. Special felicitation of senior committee members was conducted by Shri Shantharamachar and Committee members along with Shri PN Acharya & Purohit Shri Viswanatha Acharya for their contribution, dedication and selfless service towards VKSS and community; the members were honoured with shawl, flower, fruits and smaranike: the honoured members were Shri Sadashivacharya, Shri Vasantha acharya, Shri Sathish Moolur, Shri Ravishankar Acharya, Smt. Vandana Aruna, & Smt.Shubha Prashanth. Shri Vishweshwara Acharya was honoured with token of appreciation for his association in pooja. The stage program was adjourned with VKSS report read by Shri Upendra Kundove. The program was anchored and well presented by Shri Sathish Muloor.
Cultural Program began with Shri Vishwakarma sthuthi classical dance by Ms Neema Pragya from Mangalore and was well appreciated for the best performance. Violin performance by Mst. Skandha Kundove was well attempt in budding stage. “Nirel” fame playback singer Ms Akshatha Rao rendered a solo Kannada filmy song which was applauded by audience. Most waited two art performances “Bhavakuncha” by the legend artist Shri PN Acharya for the songs sung by Shri Vishveshwara Acharya were truly extraordinary. Abudhabi group-lead by Monish Acharya & Shivani Dheeraj sung a Hindi filmy song was so melody. “Bhasmasura Mohini” Dance drama by the Dubai Kids -Prajwal Arun, Sindhoor Umesh, Shringar Umesh, Yashas Ravindra was fabulous. Mr Ganesh from Abudhabi sung Hindi melody song very nicely.
Bharathanatyam by Ms Neha Dhishna from Mangalore was truly a mastered performance. Local dance talent Ms Pranamya Prasanna performed a beautiful classical dance for Kannada song. Filmy dance by Mr. Prashanth Acharya from Dubai brought back rhythm at the audience with smile. Solo Hindi filmy song by Mr. Monish Acharya from Abudhabi was appreciated by all the audience for his golden voice. Kannada folk dance by the Sharjah Ladies – Pavithra Gururaj, Nishma Sudarshan, Swathi Ravishankar, Saijal Sathish was amazing, Dubai Kids – Prajwal Arun, Sindhoor Umesh, Shringar Umesh, Yashas Ravindra, Adya Ravindra, Vaishnavi Rajesh showed their talent by a dance beautifully for a remix song. “ Shree Ganesha” – dance by Abudhabi team was a mind blowing performance with the members Pooja Rudrayya, Shruthi Prakash, Shreya Gangadhar, Shraddha Jagadish, Shivani Dheeraj, Dheeraj Gopal Acharya, Varun Dharmapal, Rithik Prakash, Vashisth Dharmapal, Sharanya Gangadhar, Ashinya Ganesh, Monish Gopal Acharya. At last the “Nada geethe- Yelegalu Nooraru”- by Shubha Prashanth, Vani Upendra, Prathibha Shodhan, Jyothi Sathish, Sahana Umesh Sarojini Harish, Preethi Prashanth, Ravishankar Acharya, Sathish Moolur, Prashanth Acharya, Harish Acharya, Upendra Kundove reminded the theme of VKSS Unity. Cultural program MC was wonderfully performed by Smt. Sarojini Harish & Shri Ravishankar Achar, and whole cultural program was well organized by Shri Nityananda Acharya, Shri Dheeraj Acharya, Smt. Vani Upendra, Smt. Preethi Prashanth by the entertainment committee and supported by Smt. Subha Prashanth, Smt. Prathibha Shodhan, Smt. Ashwini Umesh & Smt. Vandana Arun.
In between, VKSS kids talents Mstr. Deepak Arun for the academic excellence in CBSC Exams-2014, Mstr. Prajwal Arun for the best dance performance at Karnataka Sangha competition 2014, and Ms Shruthi Prakash for Academic excellence in HS-Examination-2014 were honoured by the VKSS. Also, “The most talented youth of community” award was felicitated to Mr Dheeraj Gopal Acharya for his outstanding performances in academics, sports, fine arts, and community services from Abu Dhabi. Smt & Shri Ganapathi Acharya were honored with memento as special guest couple who graced the occasion from India.
All main sponsors & supporters for the event like Shri Ganapathi Acharya, Smt & Shri Roopa Vasundar Achar Delhi, M/s Shaan Tourism LLC, M/s Woodland Restaurants, M/s JASCO, were also honored with plaque of appreciation. All media, Sound & Lighting, Photo and Camera representatives like Shri Shodhan Prasad, Shri Deepak Kalladka, Shri Vinay Namma TV, Shri Prasad were honoured with memento of appreciation for their great and continued support. All the kids’ participants in the cultural programs were presented with gifts by the VKSS committee.
The program was concluded by delivering vote of thanks by Shri Upendra Kundove to all the sponsors, supporters, volunteers, well wishers, participants, dignitaries of all other associated communities in UAE etc, followed by Raffle draw conducted by Shri Shantharam Achar, Shri Prashanth Acharya, Shri Harish Acharya, & Smt Prathibha Shodan, Shri Shodhan Achar, Shri Umeshachar and grand prizes were distributed on the spot for the winners.
The program was witnessed by all associated community dignitaries such as Shri Sarvotham shetty, Shri Harish Sherigar, Shri Kamath, Shri Shodhan Prasad, Shri Sathish Poojary, Shri Balakrishna Salian, etc. Traditional & delicious food was supplied by M/s Woodland group restaurants.
The whole program was systematically conceptualized by the President, executive committee, VKSS members and volunteers under great support and guidance by the core committee members.
