House burgled at Koteshwar – Suspected man arrested.

Kundapur, November 28: Burglars broke open the lock of a house close to Chikkamma Daiva temple belonging to Lakshmana Rao at Koteshwar, vandalized the house and fled away with the silver items from the prayer room. The incident is reported to have occurred on Thursday night, November 27th.

Lakshmana Rao, runs a mobile Shop at Koteshwar and always the father and son duo used to reach home late night. On Thursday evening, by 6.30pm the woman who used to reside in the house had been to “kalavara Shasti” function. Taking a good advantage of this chance, the thieves broke into the house by breaking open the lock at the entrance of the house, and vandalized the things inside. They also broke open the almaraiah too. Later they fled with silver tray, and 5 silver lamps. About 9.30pm in the night, the family came to know about the theft.

The cops immediately rushed to the spot and investigated. A tent dweller at koteshvar was found loitering suspiciously around during the same time. On observing it, the police and the natives began to question him. Meanwhile when the man tried to escape, the locals have managed to catch him and handed him over to the cops. The truth is yet to be known after the investigation.
