Mangaluru, April 1: Two high school students expired in a scooter accident which took place at at Montepadav under Konaje police jurisdiction on Tuesday night, March 31st.
The deceased 14-year old duo boys are Tameem and Zakir from Montepadavu.
They were students of 8th standard at Al Madina English Medium School in Manjanady.
Tameem, who was ineligible to get a licence, was riding Honda Activa scooter owned by his father while Zakir was riding pillion. They were travelling to Manjanady from Montepadav.
At about 9.15 pm, the scooter fell into a ditch by the road edge after Tameem lost control of vehicle. Tameem expired on the spot. Zakir was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to injuries on Wednesday, April 1st.
A case has been registered by Konaje cops.
