April 18 & 19, Devadiga Sangha to celebrate its 90th anniversary. Industrialist Harish Sherigar Chosen for ‘Udyoga Ratna’

Mumbai : Mr. Harish Sherigar, Dubai based wellknown Industrialist, social worker and singer who is also the editor of kannadigaworld.com is chosen for the prestigious ‘Devadiga Udayog Ratna’ award along with 8 others.

In the press conference held on 12^th April, 2015 at the office of Devadiga Sangha, Dadar, Mumbai, immediate past president of the Sangha H. Mohandas while giving informations regarding the 90 years achievement of the Sangha and the activities of the 90 year celebrations, he said the celebration will be held on 18^th and 19^th of April, 2015  at Devadiga Bhavan, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.

The committee informed the media that Devadiga Adhiveshana will be held on 19^th April, 2015 followed by inauguration of “Vision 2025” by Smt. Malathi V. Moily.

Former Chief Minister and cabinet minister Dr. M. Veerappa Moily will present the prestigious awards of the achievers of the community. The awards are Devadiga Udyog Ratna, Kreeda Bhushana, Devadiga Sanmitra, Devadiga Shree and the former presidents who completed 65 years and above will be awarded during this occasion.

In the press meet Chairman of Celebration committee, Dharmapal U. Devadiga, President, Vasu S. Devadiga, Hon. Gen. Secretary Padmanabha A Devadiga, Gopala Moily, Ganesh Sherigar, Mohandas Attawar, K N Devagida, Ravi Divadiga, Ashok T Devagida were present.
