Mangaluru, June 2, 2015: The customs officers at Mangalore International Airport (MIA) ) on Monday, June 1, seized 464.800 gms ( Net weight) gold in the from of silver colour paint coated suitcase handle buckle holders and round button shaped objects, brought by concealment in the stroller suitcase carried as accompanied baggage by a passenger, who arrived from Abu Dhabi.
The passenger identified as Ubaid Bare Hussainar, a resident of Mangad, Kasargod, arrived at Mangalore International Airport on Monday by Jet Airways flight 9W501.
Further investigation is under progress.
