Mumbai, June 19: Heavy down pour last night in Mumbai has effected the normal life of the residents. Many areas have been waterlogged. Train services have also been affected. Vehicular movement has been severely affected, as the water is flowing on the streets. Normal life has been completely disrupted.
Due to the incessant rains, railway stations are flooded and train tracks are completely submerged in rain water. As the roads are submerged in water giving a flooded appearance, the parents have refused to send their children to schools. Due to heavy rain, holiday has been declared to all the schools.
It is said, the train services at crowded areas such as Chatrapathi Shivaji Terminus (CST) and Kurla, Central remains suspended.
Daily 70-80 lakhs Mumbai residents travel by local train. Citizens face a great inconvenience, as the train services have been hit due to rain. City has come to a grinding halt.
