Puttur, October 8: It is suspected that the attack on Rajdhani Jewellers by two unidentified bike borne men late evening on October 6th might be done by underworld element Kali Yogish.
On October 6th at around 7.15 pm, two men came in a bike and opened fire at the jewellery store located in CPC Plaza in the main street in Puttur town.
It is said that the partner of this store Thanaz Shet had received a phone call from a person claiming to be Kali Yogish who had said during the call that as his demand for money was rejected, he had got this act done by his men.
It is also said that, a person claiming to be Kali Yogish had called up a TV news channel and said that it was his men who had fired at the jewellery store which has aroused suspicions of his involvement.
Police are investigating into the case.
