Mangalore, August 17: Due to the rots problem and yellow disease areca nut growers suffering a lot. Hence, union government must introduce the special package to help them and if they are not responding, then we will intensify a movement along with coastal farmers, said MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.
‘Union government gives long speech regarding farmers, but it won’t solve their problem. When farmers are in problem, they need necessary help, hence special package must be introduced and through this package government must uplift the areca nut growers from the problem’, he urged.
‘Union and state government is not helping the farmers in proper manner and it caused them as direction less. They must get the response and help otherwise in the aegis of BJP, we will intensify a movement and we are ready to any kind of scarifies, he said.
