Mangalore, April 19: An incident took between two buses claims a life of one of the driver, injuring 15 passengers at Kolnad near Mulky on April 19, Saturday at 5.45 am.
Reportedly, a KSRTC sleeper bus moving towards Hubli from Mangalore rammed into a private bus ‘Pragathi’ plying between Bangalore and Udupi.
According to the eyewitness, the KSTRC bus was moving in a high speed on the wrong direction, in order to overtake another vehicle, hit the private bus coming from opposite direction.
The KSRTC bus driver died on the spot, while the private bus driver sustained critical injuries and have been admitted for treatment at Srinivas Hospital at Mukka.
A case have been registered a case at Mulky police station.
