Mangalore, April 22: The members of Sunni Students Federation DK District Committee organized a protest condemning the gunning down of Jokatte youth Kabeer by the Anti-Naxal Force in Shringeri, in front of DC office on April 21, Monday.
Addressing the protestors, KM Aboobakker Siddique, SSF State General Secretary, said that act of gunning down of an innocent cattle trader Kabir by the ANF police have brought a sense of insecurity among the minority community.
He also said that the concerned officials and the state government have failed to take action against the ANF police who was involved in the shootout and the family of Kabir is deprived of justice.
Abdul Hameed Bajpe, General Secretary of the all India unit of the SSF said that the home minister K J George have failed to tackle the instances of moral policing taking place in the state and proved to be the weakest minister in the cabinet.
SSF District President Ismail Saadi, SYS District President Usman Saadi Pattori, SYS leaders GM Kamil Sakafi, and other participated in the protest.
