Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association (KMCA) is all set to host its first Cricket Tournament “Tipu Sultuan Cup” on 20th May 2014 at Old Ideal India School ground.
The President of Qatar veterans Cricket League and prominent Indian Community leader Mr. M. F. Farid will be the chief guest while Mr. Shaavad Jedikkere, the worlds 12th rated blind Athlete from Karnataka will be the Guest of Honor on the inauguration ceremony which will be held on 20th May 2014 at 6.30PM.
Karnataka based cricket teams at Qatar: Tulu Koota Qatar, Bunts Qatar, MCC, SKMWA, and host KMCA will face the challenge to lift the Tipu Sulthan Cup 2014.
The tournament will be held from 20th, 21st and 22nd May 2014. The Chief Guest for the colorful closing ceremony will be witnessed by Mrs. Ashwini Nachappa, Olympian and Arjun Awardee former Athlete who will fly all the way from India to witness the finals and closing ceremony.
Mr. Azim Abbas, President Indian Business and Professional Network – Doha Qatar) will be the guest of honour for the closing ceremony.
M/s. Qatar Design Consortium(QDC) and M/s. Al Salam Technical Services (STS Group) are the main sponsors of the tournament.
The President of KMCA Mr. Niyaz Ahmed has appealed all the cricket lovers at Qatar to come and watch the spectacular tournament and extend their whole hearted support to the participating teams.

Commendable job by KMCA that they named the cup as “Tipu Sultan cup”. A martyr who died fighting against the invasion on our country. I would like to congratulate Mr Niyaz Ahmed president of KMCA for taking this initiative.
