Vastu and Feng Shui have nothing to do with religion; they are the science of balancing the five elements that is Earth, fire, water, space, and air to attain maximum benefits out of life. If your house or work place is violating any principle of Vastu, that is a Vastu dosh. A Vastu Dosh can be corrected through simple Feng Shui principles.
Aquarium
An aquarium in the feng shui living room can be a source of enjoyment and relaxation. You can sit back and watch as another world comes to life right before your eyes. But did you know that if you placed a fish tank or aquarium in the south east of your living room you will attract wealth and abundance in your home. Its best to have a square or rectangular shape aquarium in the south east. However if you prefer a round one then you should place it in the north.
Plants
Lush green plants can fill the bare lonely corner of your feng shui living room with life and vitality. Lush green plants in the south east of living room will bring you wealth and abundance. In the south they bring you fame and good recognition luck. Green plants in the east will bring you good health and vitality.
Clock
The humble clock, when incorporated creatively, can be elevated to centerpiece status in a room. A unique oversized clock serves as an art. A small wall clock gains importance when surrounded by a larger picture frame. If you have a clock with a pendulum place it in the north west of the living room. That will bring you good travel luck and help from mentors, friends and heaven. Do not place a clock near a dining table.
Air and Light
Have good quality air and good quality light in your house. These two elements are essential for good feng shui energy (called Chi) in your home. Open the windows often, introduce feng shui air-purifying plants or use an air-purifier. Allow as much natural light as possible into your home, and consider using full-spectrum lights.
Happy Images
Have many happy images of your family throughout the house, especially in the kitchen, living room and the East area of your house.
Use green in abundance
The feng shui color of growth and healing, green can be freely used in the East, Southeast and South feng shui bagua areas of your home or office. It is best to avoid a strong color green presence in the North bagua area of your space.
Use Water Cures
Any water image is an excellent feng shui for wealth energizer, just be sure the water is clear and moving. So, images of a fast flowing river or a waterfall, for example, are better feng shui for wealth cures than the images of a quiet lake or a pond.
Candles
Being a Fire feng shui element, candles invoke the energy of purification and inspiration, they warm up the energy and help release daily stress. Candles are best used in the feng shui areas of South, Southwest, Northeast and Center. When using candles as feng shui cures, be mindful about their colors, as well as the candleholder material/element.
Fix what’s broken
Create high energy
Bring higher feng shui energy to support you in your clutter clearing efforts. For example, having great music, fresh air, a sense of beauty in the space will start diminishing the low effects of clutter, as in the world of energy everything is in constant motion. Be aware how much easier it is to deal with the low energy of your clutter when you are surrounded by higher energy.
Beautify the space outside the door
Replace any burned out lights with brighter wattage. Wipe down the front door and its hardware. Buy a new doormat, or shake out the one you currently use. Strive to keep this space clean and approachable. And if you can do nothing else, sweep. It’s a simple ritual that maintains pleasing space and calls forth marvelous energy.
Produce Great Sound
Use your stereo to play your favourite music or song and maximise its sound effect to the highest level possible (Devotional music or songs are recommended for this specific purpose). Big sounds are believed to scare away evil influences. Even if you can do it for some minutes – that’s okay.
Place Nine Oranges in a Bowl
As oranges appear like the Sun – they stand for bringing in positive and life giving energy. On 1st January, fill a bowl with total 9 oranges and place it in your kitchen bench-top or island or table – in order to attract positive and life giving energy to your kitchen and home.
Create a meditative space
We all need a bit of sanctuary in our lives, and in the art feng shui, this doesn’t necessarily mean creating a religious space, but rather a safe haven in your home where you can slow down, restore clarity and release stress.
A sure shot Feng Shui way of transforming life
Are you among the ones who are looking out for a new job, but with little or no luck? Don’t delay any longer, straight away raid your home and gather 27 items that you don’t use at all and donate it to the needy out there or sell it away. This shall make space in your home to attract new things into your life. This shall also affect your body, and you may lose that extra fat from your body and feel lot lighter.
Always keep the doors shut
A bedroom is an intimate place and the reason why you are reading this is because you want to use feng shui to improve love life. Now, there are some small details that you have to keep in mind, especially when it comes to the bedroom. No door should be open in the bedroom, especially during the night time, when you and your spouse go to sleep.
Use crystals
Hanging faceted crystals are one of the most popular and widely used Feng Shui cures. Hung in the windows, doorways and passageways of your environment they are masters at slowing down negative energy. Crystals have been known for centuries for their power to energize and have been used as a healing tool for 1000’s of years. They are the ultimate symbol of the earth element.
The shape of your dining table
Round dining room tables symbolize heavenly blessings, and should have an even number of chairs around them (even numbers being a sign of good luck). And never have only one chair, as that’s a clear-cut symbol of loneliness.
Just create good space
The goal of Feng Shui is to create a thoroughly nurturing environment for you and your family. It can never adequately do that if you’re surrounded by things with bad memories attached, or that don’t vitalize you. In Feng Shui we learn that the things in our environment either nurture us or deplete our energy. There is no middle ground.
