Mangaluru, October 7: The Popular Front of India (PFI) on Wednesday October 7th has heavily condemned the statements of three local BJP leaders exposed in the sting operation done by Cobrapost and Gulail.
Recently the sting operation Cobrapost and Gulail had revealed the methods used BJP, RSS and splinter groups to rescue Hindu girls from ‘Love Jihad’.
Addressing a press meet here, PFI chief secretary Yasir Hasan said, that the operation has proved that ‘love Jihad’ was created by the Sangh Parivar to divide the society on communal lines. After the sting operation, the truth has come out. This is a very dangerous strategy. The term ‘love Jihad’ has been used to polarize the society, he alleged.
He also demanded that strict action should be taken against Sangh Parivar leaders for their statements.
Recalling the Cyanide Mohan case where it had been found that 22 girls were lured and killed, Hasan said, in coastal area 22 girls went missing and it was termed as a case of ‘love Jihad’. But after it was learnt that the girls had become victims of Cyanide Mohan, they remained silent.
In the press meet, Abdul Majeed, Abdul Razak and other PFI leaders were present.
