Mangaluru, November 4: In the double murder that took place in Mangaluru sub-jail on Monday, the accused in the incident prisoner named Faizal has alleged of jail staffs involvement in the incident.
Faizal spoke to the media while he was being taken to the court for enquiry. Faizal said, the murder was not committed out of anger. The weapons were not dropped from the roof, but they have come through the door on Sunday and the jail staffs Rajendra, and Puttanna have assisted for this. Another jail staff Chakresh brought the weapons in a plastic packet, said Faizal.
Faizal further said, he had informed this to the ADGP Kamal Panth. There is no security inside the jail and attempts are being made to twist the case, said Faizal.
