Dubai, September 15: The UAE Margadeepa Samskrithika Samithi will organise public Ganeshotsava for the first time on September 18th Friday from 10am to 7pm in JSS International School auditorium at Al-Barsha.
Addressing a press meet after the pre preparatory meeting with the office bearers of several Kannada –Tulu associations held at Grand hotel in Dubai, on Friday night regarding the public Shree Ganesh Utsav, this was informed by the organizers.
Pratistapane, Maha Mangalarati, Prasad distribution, singing devotional songs, stage program, and immersion of the idle will take place. Shree Narendranata Yogeshwareshwara Swamiji of Shree Kshetra Maradaka will bless the event.
In the pooja ceremony, Former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yedurappa, MP Shoba Karandlaje, Former Minister Krishna J Palemar and Udayavani news Bureau Chief Manohar Prasad will be present as the chief guests on this occasion.
In the press meet, Chairman of Dubai Fortune Group of Hotels and honorary chairman of Shree Ganesh Utsav Committee Praveen Shetty, Administrative Director of Acme Building Materials, Dubai, Harish Sherigar, Satish Venkatramana of Chilli Willi and president of public Shree Ganesha Utsava Committee, Prabhakara Amblatere and Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha President Sarvottama Shetty were present.
Prior to this, the guests inaugurated the preparatory meet by lighting the lamp. In the meet, discussions were held pertained to the celebration of public Ganesh Utsav.
Praveen Shetty, Harish Sherigar, Satish Venkatramana, Prabhakar Ambalatere, and Sarvottama Shetty held discussions regarding the grand celebration of Ganesh Utsav in public, the pooja rituals and also about organizing the programs. During the meet bearers of various pro-Kananda, Tulu associations also put forward their suggestions. Writer and former president of Sharja Karnataka Sangha Ganesh Rai, Herman Louis of Radio Spice and others also shared their opinions.
