Mangaluru, April 1: Burglary took place in a house in Kolya on the night of Tuesday, March 31st; where the robbers made their way with cash and jewellery.
The robbery is reported to have taken place at the residence of Saraswathi who resides close to Kolya Mookambika temple.
When the occupants of the house were fast asleep, the robbers gained entry in the night through the door of the house. It is stated in the complaint that the thieves have robbed cash Rs 2 lakhs and 45 sovereigns of gold ornaments.
Burglary in Studio:
Thieves broke into a studio at Ullal owned by Tanunjaya Rao and made escaped with a Rs 40,000 worth camera. It is gathered that the thieves also attempted burglary at another studio and a house. Cops suspect that theft might have been done by professional robbers.
