Mangalore : Two gold biscuits weighing 100 grams were seized by the Customs officials at Mangalore International Airport, Kenjar on Sunday, October 6. The biscuits were recovered from a passenger S Mahammad of Mangalore who was on board Air India Express Flight IX 386 from Damam.
The gold biscuits with marking of Suisse fine gold 999.9 worth Rs. 5.45 lac were concealed inside the baggage.
D Purushottam headed team is conducting further investigations said V Shreenivas Phani, assistant commissioner.
