Ullal, Feb 3: Thousands of followers gathered to bid adieu to Ullal Khazi Tajul Ulema Sayyed Abdul Rahman Al Bukhari at Ettikulam Masjid ground near Payyannur in Kerala on Feb 2, Sunday.
Assayyid Fazal Hamid Koyamma Thangal Koorath son of Tajul Ulema and in-charge Khazi of Ullal led the funeral prayers for the departing soul.
The body of the demise was buried next to his mother’s grave near the Masjid in the presence of his family members and religious scholars.
In order to pay homage to their leader, few shops and businesses owned by Sunni Muslims of Kerala closed their establishment on Sunday.
Large number of his fans, followers and disciples from all over the country and foreign countries also participated in the funeral.
