Moodbidri, July 3: Moodbidri will be hosting the Army appointment rally from 5th to 12th August. The rally will be held for the first time here.
On this account a meeting was called at DC office. DC A.B. Ibrahim presided over the meeting. It was informed that the rally will be held at Vidyagiri ground in Moodbidri for a period of 8 days. Youngsters from various places of Karnataka are expected to take part in the nomination process for Indian Army.
The DC informed that the candidates will be provided with food, water and other basic amenities. He stressed that youngsters from Dakshina Kannada should join army in huge number.
The appointments will be held for various posts in the Army, eligibility test, physical test, health test etc will be conducted. Candidates having certain educational qualifications and age limits can take part in this. After clearing the test at Moodbidri, the candidates have to appear for a written test at Mangalore, informed recruitment director Carnal Vishwanath.
ADC Sadhashiva Prabhu, DDPI Mosas Jayashekar, DCP Dr. Jagadish and others were present.
