Bangalore, July 31, 2013: The Cubbon Park traffic police have converted the stretch between Maharani College Circle and CID Junction on Palace Road into a silent zone.
The police took the decision considering the interests of teachers and students in and around the road. The stretch witnesses heavy traffic everyday. Moreover, there will be movement of high-profile personalities, location of government offices and other institutions.
One-way on HC premises
The Cubbon Park police have introduced one-way traffic in High Court premises. As the parking of vehicles often blocked the way, the police have banned the movement of all types of vehicles on the stretch between Press Club gate and the High Court south gate number 3. There will be no entry to vehicles from south gate number 3 from Gopal Gowda Circle, while exit has been provided at old KGID building gate number 4.
