Mangalore, September 27: On the occasion of the 80th birthday of Professor Amrutha Someshwara, a felicitation programme was organised at the Ravindra Kalabhavan of the University College on Saturday, September 27th.
Health minister of the State, U.T.Khader, the retired chancellor of the Hampi University Professor B.A. Viveka Rai, were the chief guests of the programme.
In this programme, overview on the writings of Amrutha Someahwara, “Amrutha Lahari”- flim show, debate and discussion with Amrutha Someshwara was organised. Theatre director Sadananda Suvarna, art director Sashidhar Adapa, Paadekallu Vishnu Bhat-Principle of the first grade government college, Hiriyadka and others were present.
