Kundapur, October 22: The mortal remains of an elderly woman was found near Bidkalkatte at Yadadi-Matyadi by afternoon on Tuesday, October 21st.
The deceased has been identified as Seeta Kulal (61), resident of Nalthur at Mathyadi village.
She was a member of a Swasahaya sangha. It is said that she had gone to the bank to remit the amount collected from the members of the sangha.
Meanwhile, the people who had been to collect fodder for the cattle close to Hardalli college saw the mortal remains. This news spread in the air and reached the Cops.
The cops immediately rushed to the spot and began investigation and learnt that she was Seetha Kulal, a resident of Yadadi-Mathyadi. Later message was sent to the victim’s family and was confirmed that it was Seetha. But mystery has shrouded her death.
Her face was punched, hands were in twisted state and there were no other wounds on the body.
Seeta Kulalthi is survived by her husband, three sons and a daughter.
Bramhavar circle inspector Arun Nayak and Kota cops have inspected the spot and are investigating the case. Dog squad have been brought to the venue of crime.
