Mangaluru, November 6: On the occasion of 546th Guru Nanak Jayanthi, North Indian businessmen’s donated a ‘Water Cooler’ to Wenlock Government Hospital, Mangaluru on Thursday November 6th.
District surgeon and superintendent at Government Wenlock District Hospital, Dr H Rajeshwari Devi, inaugurated the Water Cooler by sipping the first glass of water accompanied by the social worker Balvinder Singh and other two patients.
Conversing with the media, Dr Devi said that water is a life giving source. “Balvinder Singh and others have donated a water cooler which was required at Wenlock Hospital and I would suggest others also to render their helping hands towards our hospital”.
Balvinder Singh addressing the gathering said, “What Guru Nanak was doing to the society, we are following the same. We are trying to help the people who are really in need of help.”
On this occasion, Srinivas Indaje – Press Club secretary, entrepreneurs Anil Banel, Kishore Patel, Ishwar Sharma, Kishore Chawla, Murli Ramani, Kishan Purohit, Shivakumar Chawla and others were present.
