Inefficient administration of the State Government: Jagadish Shetter.

Mangaluru, November 21: Former chief minister Karnataka Jagadish Shettar arrived to Mangaluru on Friday November 21st, to inaugurate the BJP membership campaign office, in the BJP office campus.

Post the inaugural ceremony, he addressed a press meet and revealed that Amit Shah- BJP national president has begun a nationwide membership campaign and expected the citizens of Mangaluru to join the party.

Condemning the State government for its inefficiency and administrative failure on various issues, he informed that the BJP would hold a huge protest over this during the Belagavi session on December 9th.

Shettar also added and said, “We had announced Moodbidri, Kadaba and Brahmavar among the 43 new taluks, but the plan has not been executed. We will hold a protest against the government over this”.

The development works at present are all those that were initiated by the BJP during its five years’ tenure. In One-and-a-half years, there are no new development works and the administration has come to a standstill, he said.

“The chief minister has lost control over the administration. His own government officials fail to obey him,” Shettar added.

Shettar demanded the resignation of home minister and said, “The government is inefficient and K J George should resign. BJP will hold a massive protest demanding his resignation.”

“About 32 lakhs of BPL cards have been cancelled, which depicts the administrative failure. The government is not addressing the poor. Even Motamma and speaker Kagodu Thimappa have raised voice against the inefficiency of the government,” he added.He also condemned the government for failing act against illegal mining and sand mafia.

Conversing about the Thirthahalli Nandithaa case, he said, “The accused in Nandita case has not been identified yet. Though the case has been handed over to the CID, there has been no progress at all.

Shettar condemned the ‘Kiss of Love’ campaign in Bengaluru, and said, it is against the Indian culture and the government should not permit to hold this drive.
