Shocking pictures of a mother eating her own baby shortly after giving birth in a hospital in China have gone viral.
The incident took place in Shenzhen in China where a nurse found the mother eating the hands of her own baby with her jaws tightly closed and attacking baby’s face and hands.
The baby’s arm has been severely damaged and was bleeding, the nurse said.
24-year-old woman Li Zhenghua was caught by the hospital nurse when she was taking rounds of the hospital.
The mother was so engrossed in eating her baby that the nurse had a difficult time to rescue the baby.
According to a story published in Mirror.co.uk, the heavily pregnant mother was discovered by the hospital authorities on a street and was crying with labour pain. The hospital authorities admitted her where she gave birth to a baby boy. There is no information about the family of the woman.
The doctors had to ultimately give some sedatives to woman to make her stop from this gruesome activity. Reports also suggest that the woman was suffering from a mental disorder.
