Mangaluru, March 18: It was a glorious moment with mixed feelings when the junior students organised a farewell get together to the 29 outgoing students from class 10, of Mangala English Medium School, Mangalore .at Devadiga Samaja Bhavan, Mannagudde.
The programme started with prayer by 9th Standard girls. Shazia made an emotional speech to the students of std 10th on behalf of School.
Bhommika, Sahana, Neela, Akrithi and Arpan Shetty, Pratham, Nikil and Karthik thanked the teachers and School authorities for all their effort in bringing them up to this stage in their academic career.
President of Karnataka Rajya Devadigara Sangh and School correspondent Sri Vaman Maroly complimented the Students of 10th std and wished them all the success in their future endeavours and also suggested to organize some events in the coming holidays such as
- Talent Search among the students
- Education in human values seminar and
- Organizing old students alumni
Head Mistress, Smt Vijaya Gouri advised the students and gave very candid tips for the exam and also for their future
Smt Veni Maroly President Lioness Club Kankanady Padil and and Smt Chitra Kunder Coordinator of Talent search distributed the prizes to all the students of 10th std, which was sponsored by Lioness Club Kankanady, Padil.
The programme was compeered by Akshatha of 9th Std.
