Beltangady, March 30: The dead body of a Bengaluru based student who went missing a week ago was found in River Netravati at Dharmasthala on Sunday evening, March 29th.
Madhu R (19), is the deceased. Madhu is the son of Raje Gowda, a resident of Nagarbhavi, in Bengaluru, had gone missing on March 23rd. He was pursuing engineering at Global Academy of Technology, Bengaluru.
On the morning of March 23rd, he had left from home to college, who never returned. His parents filed a complaint the next day in Jnanabharathi police station, Bengaluru. However, efforts to trace him went in vain.
On Sunday at around 6.30 pm, Beltangady police found a body floating in the Netravati River. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that the body was that of Madhu. The exact cause behind the death is not yet ascertained.
Beltangady cops have registered a case.
