Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Satish C Mehta held a meeting with Undersecretary of the ministry of Interior General Ghazi Al-Omar.
In his talks with the ambassador, Al-Omar underlined the deep-rooted relations between Kuwait and India.
Recently the Indian embassy officials held talks with different authorities on various levels in the wake of the security crackdown on illegal expats, were a large number of Indians are detained by security officials for various law violations.
As per Indian embassy reports, around 1500 to 1700 Indians are deported in the recent drive against illegal resident in the past two month.
