Beltangady, May 21: An entrepreneur as well as a lawyer Ramachandra Shenoy, who was allegedly kidnapped by some persons, has returned on Wednesday May 20th.
Wife of Shenoy had registered a complaint in the police station here. In the complaint it was suspected that a gang had kidnapped him in connection with a financial dispute pertaining to his business.
On Wednesday, Shenoy’s wife informed the policemen that Ramachandra Shenoy had returned home, and that the kidnappers had beaten him up.
It is gathered that the lawyer has got admitted to a private hospital here.
But the information about the identity of his abductors, reasons for kidnap, etc are yet to be ascertained.
The police had been putting all efforts to trace the culprits.
