Mangaluru, August 07: A couple suffered serious injuries after a private bus collided to their two-wheeler and then rammed to a tanker at Tadambail in Suratkal, outskirts of Mangaluru on the morning of Friday August 7th.
B H Ibrahim (57) and his wife Zohara, residents of Chokkabettu are the persons injured.
The express bus named Durgamba Motors plying from Mangaluru to Udupi collided to the couple’s Activa and then collided to a tanker.
While Ibrahim and Zohara were travelling towards Chokkabettu from Suratkal, this accident took place.
The tanker was moving from Udupi towards Mangaluru.
The critically injured couple were rushed to a hospital in Mukka. The drivers of the bus as well as the tanker also sustained minor injuries.
A case has been registered by Suratkal traffic police.
