Police raid illegal cattle trafficking, butchery, accused escape.

Mangaluru, August 13: Ullal police raided an illegal slaughter house at Chembugudde, Ullal on Wednesday August 12th and seized 11 cattle and 2 dead cattle from the spot.

The police acting on information given by activists of a Hindu organization about cattle being illegally transported to a slaughterhouse, conducted the raid. But the accused persons succeeded in running away during the raid.

The accused M C Bava and M C Khader, and Imtiaz, resident of Millathnagar in Ullal, escaped from the spot.

The Bajrang Dal activists of Kuthar unit, who got information that cattle were being transported to slaughterhouse in Chembugudde from the city in a pick-up vehicle, conveyed this information to Ullal police.
