Sharjah: Two Indian men died and one was severely injured in a traffic accident on Emirates Road in Sharjah on Thursday morning.
The two men who died, one aged 40 and the other 27, were in a truck on Emirates Road in the Umm Al Quwain direction, when their vehicle swerved and landed on the other side of the road, and hit another truck head-on.
A police patrol saw the accident and reported it to the operations room at 8.40am.
Rescue, ambulance and Civil Defence teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. Sharjah Police urged the public to be careful when driving and abide by the speed limit and traffic rules and regulations.
