Mangaluru, August 25: Two bikes and weapons were found in an isolated spot on a hill at Saripalla, near Kulshekar here on Monday August 24th.
It is gathered that a group of youths spotted two bikes which seemed to be abandoned on a hill, and when they went near it, they found weapons kept near them.
The youths then looked around for the owners of the bikes, and found two men sitting inside a tent erected amidst the trees. However, when they saw the youths approaching them, they escaped from the spot.
Later the police were informed about the matter that visited the spot and investigated.
Police seized the two bikes, machetes, sickles and a rod from the spot.
It is suspected that the bikes might have been stolen and that the two men who escaped from the spot might have been planning to commit some crime.
Police have undertaken the investigations.
