London: A fire broke at the Hangar of the Dublin airport earlier on Wednesday morning, causing temporary disruptions to the flight operations. The fire has been contained, but the immediate reason for the fire is not known.
Dublin Airport advised the passengers to check with their airline or consult their airline website for the latest flight information. It was also said that the fire was in a hangar in the restricted area of the airport, which is separate from the passenger facilities.
Reports suggested that some flights were being diverted to Shannon in western Ireland or Belfast in Northern Ireland.
Dublin Fire Brigade said at least four engines had been sent to the scene and that units from Finglas ,HQ, and Kilbarrick & Swords are attending a fire in Dublin Airport
