Mangaluru, October 8: As part of the 20-day ‘Jeevanvileena’ awareness campaign on organ donation, AJ Hospital and Research Centre organized a walkathon on Wednesday October 8th.
The event was flagged off by Zilla Panchayat CEO PI Srividya at Mangaluru City Corporation.
Addressing the gathered, Srividya said, AJ Hospital is doing a great job in spreading awareness. If you donate your organs, another person will benefit from it. It is like giving life to another person.
Students of Government College participated in the walkthon which culminated at AJ Hospital in the city.
Valedictory ceremony of this campaign will be held on October 10th.
