Mangaluru, October 22: it is alleged that two auto rickshaw drivers assaulted the driver of a KSRTC bus near Dr Ambedkar circle here during late night on Wednesday October 21st.
It is gathered that the KSRTC bus had arrived to the city from Bengaluru. Its driver stopped the bus in front of the auto rickshaw stand near Dr Ambedkar circle.
According to initial details, objections were raised by the auto drivers who were at the spot for stopping the bus in front of their parking area. Arguments took palce after which the auto drivers caught hold of the bus driver and allegedly assaulted him.
Later the injured bus driver was admitted to hospital.
Bunder police arrived to the spot and took up investigations.
