Mangaluru, October 24: The official inauguration of ‘Hasyancho Paavs- Season 2’, a Konkani comedy contest jointly organized by United Friends Bejai and Daijiworld 24×7 was held at Kalangaan here on Saturday, October 24th.
Fr Wilson Vitus D’souza, parish priest of Bejai church addressed the gathering and said, this is a forum which helps to bring out more talents. United friends Bejai and Daijiworld 24×7 have been working for the welfare of society. He wished all the success for the event.
Frank Fernandes said, God has blessed different people with different talents. But a platform is needed to present those talents before the audience. United Friends Bejai and Daijiworld 24×7 has provided that platform here. Laughter helps to reduce the tension. There are many types of smiles. Even though one is sad within, he should bear a smile on his face. I wish them all the success to United Friends Bejai and Daijiworld, he said.
Walter Nandalike the managing director of Daijiworld Media Pvt Ltd said we have stepped into the second season of ‘Hasyancho Paavs’. The contesting teams will exhibit their talents within the allotted time. Many teams have already enrolled for the contest and many more teams expected to participate, he said.
Walter Nandalike welcomed the gathering and Arun Rodrigues, president of United Friends Bejai proposed the vote of thanks.
Fr Denis D’Souza the PRO Udupi dioceses, Owner of Acme Building Materials Dubai- Harish Sherigar, Onil D’Souza, Raymond D’Souza, Rohan Monteiro, Frank Fernandes, and others were present on the dais.
