Mangaluru, October 27: Inspired by the ISIS terrorists, some are moving in a wrong way, the Muslim leaders must guide them appropriately in the right path. Otherwise it may be inevitable for the Hindus to clutch arms for ‘self protection’ said the Bajrangdhal state convener Suryanarayana.

He addressed a press meet here after visiting the family of Prashanth Poojary, a Bhajrangdhal leader who was recently murdered in Moodbidre. In relation to Prashanth Poojary murder case, all the arrested are from Muslim community. When such gruesome incident occurs, the Muslim leaders remain silent which paves way for suspicions whether such incidents are indirectly supported, he said.

Prashanth Poojary was a common worker. This murder occurred only because he was aHindu. The Congress government is supporting the minority community which is the cause for this. After the congress government came to power in state, if the incidents occurred at various parts of the state are observed, this fact will be evident, informed Suryanarayana.

We are happy that the culprits are arrested in Prashanth Pooajry murder case. But although the State police have mentioned that the accused belong to PFI association, it is a surprising fact that the Mangaluru police have not said it. He also demanded immediate arrest of all the accused in the murder case an also those who have assisted in this crime and the persons behind the assault on Hindus that took place in various parts of the state in the past, said Suryanarayana.

The Human Rights Commission that was actively functioning when the minority community is in trouble, has kept quiet now, which arises suspicions. He demanded the commission to immediately visit Moodbidri and thoroughly investigate the case and provide justice to the family of Prashanth Poojary, he said.

The illegal cattle trafficking can be avoided if the government strictly implements the present “Karnataka Cattle Slaughter Ban act 1964”. Hence the state government and the central government must strictly enforce this law.  The illegal slaughter houses must be closed, urged Suryanarayana.

In the press meet, Bajrangdahl leader Sharan Pumpwell, leaders such as Praveen Kuttar, Bhujang Kulal, and Predeep Pumpwell were present.

Demand for Rs 25 lakhs compensation:

The BJP, Swamiji’s, people from Hindu community have consoled the family of Prashanth Poojary and have provided financial assistance to his family. But there is no response from government. The government has announced Rs 10 lakhs compensation for the family of cattle thief. But for the reason that Prashanth Poojary was a Hindu; who was providing information to police about cattle trafficking, no compensation was not provided to his family. This arises suspicions that there is no value to Hindus. The government should take unbiased decision and immediately provide compensation of Rs 25 lakhs to the family of Prashanth Poojary, he demanded.
