Mangaluru, December 14: The ‘Samastha – 90’ programme was organized by the Samastha Kerala Jamiyattul Ulama (SKJU) on its 90th anniversary at Nehru Maidan here on Sunday December 14th.
Samasta Kerala Jamyatul Ulama president Sayyed Hyderali Sihab Thangal Panakkad spoke after inaugurating the event and said, Peace is the original intent of Islam. He gave a call and said, the high values of Islam must be inculcated, traditional ideals must be followed, and by maintaining purity, every Muslim must live in a healthy society.
Intolerance against the minorities is rising in the country. Communalism, and terrorism which are against tolerance is condemnable, he said and added that in the modern world, the media, especially the social sites are misused. There is a need to stop it, opined Hyder Ali Sihab Thangal.
‘Samasta’ chief secretary Shaikhana Zainul Ulama Cherushery Zainuddin Musliyar presided over the ceremony.
Sayyed Mohammed Jifri Muttukoya Tangal performed the Dua.
Leader of ‘Samasta’ Shaikhana T M Bapu Musliyar Kotumala, Shaikhana M T Abdulla Musliyar, Shaikhana Professor K Alikutti Musliyar, Shaikhana Koyyodu Ummar Musliyar, Shaikhana C K M Sadik Musliyar, Shaikhana PKP Abdusalam Musliyar, and Sayyed Abbasali Sihab Thangal Panakkad delivered speech. Abdul Faizi Ambalakadavu, and Abdusamad Pookoturu delivered the main speech. District Khwazi Shaikhana Twaka Ahmed Musliyar also spoke on this occasion.
District in-charge Minister B Ramanath Rai addressing the gathered said, some forces are trying for the communal clashes in the district. There is a need to stop them. Those who are spreading false news and spoiling the healthy society are traitors. Hence I would pray to god to give a mind which spreads love and not hatred, he said.
Health Minister U T Khader addressed the gathered and said, the ‘Samasta’ has a history of giving good citizens to the country. Hence there is a need that the young generation that loses track should seek the Dua blessings of such Ulama, he said.
Dr Bahauddin Nadwi, Mohammed Faizi, Nasar Faizi Kodattai, Mahin Kutti Master, Ali Bava Chelari, Iqubal C.P, M.A. Chelari participated as the chief guests on this occasion.
