Mangaluru, December 18: Ayush Foundation organized a rally on Thursday December 17th from Bunts Hostel circle to the Nehru Maidan here to create awareness on the Ayush festival to be held in Pilikula on December 19th and 20th.
Maladi Ajith Kumar Rai, president of Buntara Yane Nadavara Sangha, in the presence of Farhad Yenpoya, financial director of Yenepoya University and president of the Ayush foundation Asha Jyothi Rai; flagged off the rally at teh premises of Ramakrishna Institutions.
The rally culminated with a yoga demonstration at Nehru Maidan.
Eminent yoga teachers Gopalkrishna Delampady and Kushalappa Gowda along with the Dakshina Kannada unit of Pathanjali Yoga Trust demonstrated various kinds of Asanas.
Students in large numbers from various medical and nursing colleges participated in this awareness march.
