Mangaluru : Lions Club Mangalore Kankanady Padil is pleased to announce its grand fundraiser event ‘NEW YEAR GALA CELEBRATION’ on 31.12.2015 at St. Aloysius PU College Gonzaga Grounds, Mangalore. This will be a star studded extravaganza with lots of entertainment, music and dance and other entertainment.
The highlight of the evening will be the grand premiere of Bollywood director Sandeep Malani’s Kannada-Tulu short film ‘Sulige Sikkidaaga’ in the presence of the film’s stars Bollywood heartthrob Kalpana Pandit, actors Akash Hora and Vivek S. Punjabi.
Other celebrities on occasion include Arjun Kapikad (Model / Actor), Umesh Mijar (Bale Telipale Fame) and Sonal Monteiro (Model / Actress) and Jnana Aithal (Li’l Masters Fame). The event will commence with the movie premiere at 7:00 p.m. sharp, followed by entertainment extravaganza.
This is not a Lions only event and entry is open to general public. In order to appeal to the youth, children and family crowds, variety of attractions have been included to make for a fun filled evening. Excellent New Year Dinner is arranged with over 80 delicacies and seafood. Chocolate fountain for children, special chat counter and ice cream counter, cake counter and pastry counter with variety of offerings. For fish lovers unlimited sea food is offered with great variety.
DJ Teju will make everyone dance, Bollywood talents like Akash Vohra, Vivek Punjabi and Clement Sequeira will provide fantastic entertainment with melodious music, while Tulu film star Arjun Kapikad will give live performance of hit dance numbers from his latest movie ‘Chandikori’. ‘Yashraj Heroines De Jayenge’ musical programme by Malani Talkies, popular numbers by Li’l Master Jnana Aithal and team, Western dance by Leo team and Kiddies’ Fashion Show are a part of the New Year eve experience.
Other attractions are magic show, spot drawing and caricature, hand reading, henna, mehendi, tattoo etc along with spectacular cracker show. Special zones are created for Children’s Games, Women only and for ‘Meet the Stars’ where one can take selfies with the film stars, photographs and autographs. Lucky draw with spot prizes, games with attractive prizes will add to the memorable experience.
