Mangaluru, December 29: An Innova car and a bike was gutted in a fire incident reported from Ambalamogaru Madaka, in Konaje police jurisdiction. The incident took place on the late night of Monday, December 28th.
The vehicles belonged to a person named Jabbar.
It is said, the incident took place at around 1.30am when the house hold were fast asleep. Unknown miscreants had set the vehicles on fire that were parked in front of the house. A boy in the neighbourhood who noticed the fire raised alarm. Immediately, the occupants of the house and the neighbours subsided the fire.
The fire had also damaged the wall of the house. The vehicles are completely charred. The losses are estimated at around Rs 10 lakhs.
In connection to this incident, the police arrested two persons on suspicion.
Further investigations are underway.
