Sullia, January 01: In a tragic incident, two MBBS students drowned in Devaragundi falls at Thodinkana here on the evening of Thursday December 31st.
The deceased are identified as Ashish and Sudhir. They were second and third year MBBS students respectively studying at KVG Medical College in Sullia. Sudhir was from Andhra Pradesh while Ashish was from KR Puram, Bengaluru.
It is learnt, the two along with seven others had been to Devaragundi waterfalls. Ashish and Sudhir who got into the water, drowned while bathing, it is said.
Sullia police have registered a case.
