Mangalore, July 17: It has been reported that an unidentified tempo hit a two wheeler at around 10.30 pm at Padil junction on July 16, Tuesday. Due to the impact of the accident woman, who was sitting on the pillion has been thrown out of the bike on the road and resulting the death on the spot and her husband who was riding the bike was critically injured.
Sources said the couple was on their way to home towards Kodakal after finishing their duty at their flower shop ‘Shree Durga’, situated at Kankanady,
The deceased has been identified as Savithri aged 40 and her husband Javre Gowda, aged 50, who was critically injured, has been admitted to private hospital in the city.
The couple has a two daughters and a son.
Kankanady rural police have registered a case in this regard.
