Mangalore, August 11: District Lion 317- D institution hosted District Cabinet Installation Ceremony “Sankalpa 2013”, at TMA Pai International Convention Centre, here on August 10.
Lion club’s first women Shantheri Prabhu inaugurated the programme and said that Lions is good institution and wished that it’s all projects will be successful.
In the presidential address district Governor K. C Prabhu, he said that Lions institution gave me identification and my seniors are cause for this.’ I was working as a scrivener in the Syndicate bank, but after the retirement actively involved me in various activities under the Lions service centre and helped me to stand in the higher post’, he said.
International Lions service institution director and corporate trainer Sunil Kumar was participated as chief guest and Justice Santhosh Hegde was the honorary president of the programme. On the occasion deputy Governor H. S Manjunath Murthy released guide book ‘Mahithi Darpana’.
M. B Sadashiva, R. Sunil kumar, second VDG Kavitha Shastri, chief Chandrahas Shetty, Secretary Ronald I Goams, District Cabinet Secretary M C Shetty, Rathnakara Devadiga, PRO Aravinda Shenoy were present among others.
