Bantwal, August 25: Bantwal rural police arrested INTUC state president Rakesh Malli att Bajpe Airport on Sunday,
Thumbe Prakash Shetty alleged that Rakesh Malli has threatened him. Hence, police have arrested him after receiving the complaints. Mr. Malli had been to Dubai and he was arrested as soon as arrived by a flight.

Regarding the threatening case failed by Zilla Panchayat member INTUC president Rakesh Malli had been arrested in the airport and after 5 hours of investigation he has been released from the police custody.
‘Police have taken the passport of Rakesh Malli and he was released under the conditions’, said station officer Mahesh Prasad.
During the legislative assembly election, Zilla Panchayat member Chandra Prakash Shetty was on field by asking the votes in support of Congress candidate B. Ramanatha Rai and during that time he alleged that Rakesh malli and his friend Shrikanth Shetty trying to kill him. Hence, complaint had been registered and police were investigating Shrikanth Shetty.
During the investigation Rakesh Malli had been to Dubai and when he arrived back SP Abhishek Goel released LOC notice to airport. Intelligence department submitted the report regarding his movement and on Sunday 9 am he was taken to the custody.
The investigation continued till 1.45 pm and police seized his passport along with the order that he must present during the necessary situation.
Regarding the case Shrikanth Shetty, Udaya, Preethesh and Avinash are undergone to investigation.
Rakesh Malli said that he don’t have any kind of relationship regarding the issue and unnecessarily tried to fix him in the case.
