Mangalore, Aug 25: Opposing the arrest of VHP leaders Ashok Singhal and Praveen Bhai Thogadiya, VHP and Bajarangadal activists staged a protest by blocking the road here on Sunday, August 25.
The protestors carried a route march from the VHP office in PVS towards Bunts Hostel and blocked the Bunts Hostel Circle, by showing their anger against the union Government.
Expressing the anger about arrest, VHP Leaders Jagadish Shenava called for a massive protest on tomorrow from 10 am in front of the Mangalore Town Hall, and he said that the protest will continue until government release the VHP leaders.
Due to the protest people faced the traffic jam and with the intervention of the Police, the protestors had to clear the spot.
Leaders Sharan Pumpwell, Shivanand Mendon, Gopal Kuthar, Jeethendra Kottary, Pradeep Pumpwell, Punith Pumpwell, Bhujanga Kulal and others were present.
